Winter Drawing in Photoshop

This is a design of a Precious Moments boy and his little dog. I first chose to put them in a Christmas scene because that season is such a big part of winter, beside other really random and weird things, this was the easiest to illustrate without going crazy. Christmas is a fairly good memory of mine. I used to hate it because of all of the shit I had to do for my mom as she goes crazy trying to impress my grandmother and all our other relatives with the way our house looks and how many weird Russian cookies we baked. I mean, it's not like they don't come over every weekend or anything?

Now, Christmas means exactly the opposite. I find myself being just as anal as my mother (oh god..seriously) as she watches me actually cook things like I'm actually good at it.. haha. But spending time with the new babies and my old father have now become something I look forward to during winter days. I'm not sure why considering I'm twenty and not even mature enough to plan my spring break trip. But I've always been mature for my age ;)

I used to get these precious moments figurines, blankets, bibles, ornaments, candies, snow globes, everything you can decorate, as a child and still do now. As I was just pronounced godmother of my little cousin, Madison, I have passed down the tradition of this PM gift giving. They are pretty cute and so is she so I feel like, why not be like your older cool cousin? I don't know. But this is everything this picture symbolizes to me.AND I will show you the correct picture in clas tomorrow!!
